BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – Two weeks after he failed in his bid to regain the position of prime minister of Barbados, Owen Arthur is now indicating that he intends writing his memoirs after having had a “wonderful life” in politics. “I will be writing my memoirs in three phases. One is called a country boy giving a perspective of what it was like growing up as a country boy in Barbados…and the one I like the most is my Jamaican days. “I spent 10 years between 1971 and 1981 living in Jamaica I have started to frame that up as well what it was like living in Jamaica in those tempestuous times and of course I am arranging all of my Prime Ministers papers…and I will put them together so that there is a collection of Prime Ministers papers all in one place,” he told reporters.
