Carla Natalie Barnett, PhD, CBE, became the eighth Secretary-General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) on 15 August 2021, by unanimous appointment of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

His Excellency Adel Bin Ahmed al-Jubeir has been the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, a Member of the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2018, and a Climate Affairs Envoy since 2022.

 Dr George Elombi

President and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Afreximbank

Dr George Elombi has served in several capacities at the African Export-Import Bank, including Deputy Director of Legal Services in 2008 and Executive Secretary and Head of Legal Services in January 2009. In April 2015, he was appointed Executive Vice President (Corporate Governance and Legal Services). In October 2025, he was inaugurated President and Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The Honourable Shirley Botchwey

Secretary-General, Commonwealth Secretariat

Hon. Shirley Botchwey is the 7th Secretary-General of the Commonwealth and the first woman from Africa to hold this office. She was appointed by Commonwealth Heads of Government at their biennial meeting in Apia, Samoa in 2024. She assumed office on 1 April 2025, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in diplomacy, international relations, governance, and public service to the position.

Her Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi

Minister of State - Foreign Affairs United Arab Emirates

Since February 2023, Her Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi has served as a Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She also serves as Chairperson of the UAE National Orchestra, Commissioner of the UAE Expo Office, Secretary-General of the Kalimat Foundation, and Non-Executive Director of Alef Education.
