Preliminary results from yesterday’s general elections in the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) gave victory to the main opposition Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) of attorney Sharlene Cartwright-Robinson.
The 7,800 voters had three choices: the ruling Progressive National Party (PNP) led by Premier Dr. Rufus Ewing; the PDM and the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) led by Oswald Skippings.
