New state of the art recycling plant coming to T&T

(Trinidad Express) In an effort to reduce Trinidad’s carbon footprints, Minister of State in the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Ramona Ramdial said, Trinidad and Tobago will have a state-of-the art recycling plant very soon.


“The recycling plant would cost around $400mTT,” Ramdial said.


She revealed this Wednesday during the prize giving ceremony of the “I Am Secondary School Green Building” competition at the Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI’s) Secretariat, 45, Cornelio Street, Wood-brook. She noted that there are a number of initiatives that the government is undertaking when it comes to the environment and sustainability.
