The Embassy of the Republic Cuba presents its compliments to the Honourable Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat on the occasion of attaching the Letter of Congratulation from His Excellency the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, and a translation of said Letter, to Her Excellency Dr. Carla Barnett, Secretary General of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), for the 50th Anniversary of CARICOM.
The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba avails itself of this opportunity to renew to the Honourable CARICOM Secretariat the assurances of its highest consideration and esteem.

I extend my warmest congratulations to you, to the General Secretariat and to the Member States, on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the creation of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
The opportunity is propitious to reiterate the deepest gratitude to the regional organization and the group of countries that comprise it, for the sustained support in our fight against the illegal and unfair economic, commercial and financial blockade that the United States has imposed on Cuba for more than 60 years.
On behalf of the Cuban people and government, I express my best wishes for success and prosperity, while we reaffirm the will to strengthen the historic relations of solidarity and cooperation with the sister nations of CARICOM.
