The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela presents its compliments to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat and has the honour to forward a Communique from the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, dated July 4, 2023, through which a congratulatory message is sent to the Governments and Peoples of the Caribbean on the 50th Anniversary of the creation of the Caribbean Community (CARlCOM).
The Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela avails itself of this
opportunity to renew to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Secretariat, the assurances of its highest consideration.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela herebv congratulates the governments of the sisterly Caribbean region on the so” anniversary of the creation of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM); an integration’ mechanism that came upon the signing of the Treaty of Chaguaramas on July 4, 1973, with a view to consolidating the unity and integration of its peoples, characterized by their historical struggle and resilience.

Venezuela maintains its firmest will to continue strengthening the friendship and bilateral cooperation with the Caribbean nations, thus, effectively contributing to the challenges posed by today’s world, in the spirit of solidarity and complementarity.

The Bolivarian Government wishes to extend this message to all the Caribbean Governments and Peoples, auguring a fortunate future towards
the longed-for Latin American and Caribbean integration.
