CARICOM partners with Nestlé for a Caribbean Youth Summit

Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is pleased to announce that we have officially partnered with the Nestlé Anglo-Dutch Caribbean on holding the Nestlé Caribbean Youth Summit on October 5th & 6th, 2021. The theme for this virtual Youth Summit: Empower Youth to act NOW is aligned with CARICOM’s mandate to empower the region’s youth through the creation of programmes that expand youth capacity and competency. 

CARICOM Chairman and Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, the Honourable Gaston Browne, will address all participants on the first day of the Summit. The Summit will also feature addresses from The Honourable Foster Cummings- Minister of Youth Development and National Diversity of Trinidad and Tobago, and the Honourable Dwight Sutherland- Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Barbados.

Other features of this Summit include mentorship sessions with business and industry leaders, motivational discussions, panel discussions and workshops on contemporary topics, including Personal Branding, Environmental Sustainability, Personal Financial Management, E-Commerce for Entrepreneurs and Skills for success in the new reality. The Nestlé Caribbean Youth Summit is targeted to youth aged 16 – 29 across the region, and registration is free.
