Northeastern Caribbean rattled by earthquake

ST.JOHN’S, Antigua, CMC – Sections of the northeastern Caribbean were rocked by a 4.8-magnitude earthquake on Saturday evening.
The United States Geological Survey confirmed that the tremor was felt as far north as St Maarten, as far south as Guadeloupe and across St Eustatius and St Kitts and Nevis.
Its epicentre was about 30 kilometres southwest of Codrington, Barbuda, at a depth of 20 kilometres.
