CARICOM Deputy Secretary-General, Dr Armstrong Alexis, welcomed Mr Roberto Benes, UNICEF Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, for a courtesy call. The engagement, which took place on Thursday, 5 March, focused on opportunities for collaboration and strengthened cooperation between the two organisations. Assistant Secretary-General, Human and Social Development Alison Drayton and a team from the Directorate of Human and Social Development joined the DSG. Mr Gabriel Vockel, Deputy Representative of UNICEF Guyana and Suriname, accompanied Mr Benes.
