This State of Public Health Report – “Healthy Ageing in the Caribbean” is a welcome publication for the people of the region. Healthy ageing was identified through a survey, as one of the areas requiring further research and policy recommendations by our Member States. This publication contributes to fulfilling the priorities outlined in the Caribbean Cooperation in Health (CCH IV); Health and well-being of Caribbean people throughout the life course. As a consequence, healthy living throughout the life course is also a strategic priority in CARPHA’s strategic plan 2018-2020.
