The Embassy of the Republic of Chile presents its compliments to the Honourable Secretariat of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and has the honour to extend its sincerest congratulations to H.E. Dr. Carla Barnett, and the entire Caribbean Community, Member Countries and officials, on the historic occasion of the 50th anniversary of the signature of the Treaty of Chaguaramas, which gave birth to the Caribbean Community.
In this momentous occasion, the Embassy of Chile allows itself to highlight the critical and long-standing role that CARICOM has played in promoting regional integration, with a permanent focus on the development of its Member Countries and the well-being of its people.
The Republic of Chile looks forward to strengthening our bilateral relations and exploring new areas of collaboration, under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding on Technical Cooperation and Human Capital Training, which is close to fruition.
