Caribbean Poultry Association (CPA)


The CPA is the strongest Caribbean regional livestock association and one of the strongest regional agribusiness associations, comprising small, medium and fully integrated operators engaged in the production of grains, poultry meat, eggs and value added  products as well as finished feeds for poultry, swine, cattle, sheep and fish. National poultry and egg associations as well as service providers are also members of the CPA.

The CPA’s core purpose is to mobilise game-changing collaboration within the Caribbean poultry industry by connecting industry players with credible data, resources and partners.

The CPA has high visibility both within and outside the region. The CPA plays a major role in the deliberations of COTED, OTN, CROSQ and CaribVet. The CPA is a member of the Latin American Poultry Association (ALA) / CISA (Animal Health Commission in Latin America). .

The strategic direction of the CPA is guided by the commitment of its Members to contribute to a secure and sustainable Caribbean. The association aims to effect transformation through mobilization and connection, with an emphasis on fostering collaborative endeavours. Members are united by a shared purpose, prioritizing the Caribbean’s interests and the belief that self-sufficiency in food represents the cornerstone of confidence, opportunity, sustainability, resilience, and prosperity across all sectors of society.

To deliver its objectives the  the CPA  plays a facilitating and supporting role in :

IProviding expert advice and transformational business support for poultry industry players.
Disseminating  scientific and technological knowledge
Apprising its members and policy makers on  global and regional developments that impact on the industry
Networking within and outside the sector
Training and building expertise and knowledge

Advocacy as the regional spokesman and representative for the poultry & feeds industries
