Suriname continues to be a showcase for the Community in many areas – the rich diversity of its culture and people living in harmonious union; the continued dynamism of its economic growth which redounds to the betterment of its people and the strengthening of its social fabric. Suriname has also been playing a leadership role in critical areas of the integration process such as Youth, Sport and Culture.
The government and People of Suriname can be justifiably proud of the nation’s accomplishments as they celebrate a new milestone in their country’s onward progress.
I convey my best wishes for the continued well being, development and prosperity of the People of Suriname.
